The CEOmind diagnostic is grounded in established psychometric principles, designed under the academic authority of a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) — a terminal degree representing the highest level of clinical and behavioral science education.
Academic Authority
The psychometric framework is designed under the authority of a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with highest honors and distinction, completed while managing healthcare organizations under regulatory scrutiny. The assessment is a development tool; see the technical summary for current reliability data and known limitations.
Established Frameworks Referenced
Big Five Personality Model (OCEAN)
The CEOmind trait assessment maps executive behaviors to the five-factor model of personality, providing a scientifically validated framework for understanding leadership tendencies.
Hogan Development Survey
The CEOmind red-flag and reactive pattern detection draws on the Hogan approach to identifying leadership derailers — the behavioral tendencies that emerge under pressure.
Clinical Behavioral Assessment
The founder's DNP background provides expertise in clinical behavioral assessment — the systematic evaluation of behavioral patterns, their triggers, and their modification through structured intervention.
Self-Determination Theory (SDT)
The CEOmind growth engine is built on SDT — the psychological framework for intrinsic motivation, autonomy, and competence development that drives lasting behavioral change.
Validation Methodology
1
Baseline Establishment: User diagnostic scores are captured at onboarding, establishing a pre-intervention baseline.
2
Longitudinal Tracking: Behavioral evidence is tracked across multiple activities over time, enabling pre/post comparison.
3
Outcome Correlation: Business outcomes (deal closures, revenue changes, delegation metrics) are correlated with competency score improvements.
4
Cross-Activity Triangulation: Evidence from simulations, decisions, habits, and real-world check-ins are triangulated to validate behavioral consistency.
5
Confidence-Weighted Scoring: Each evidence piece carries a confidence score based on source reliability, preventing single-observation bias.

Not enough data
Reliability is reported once at least 30 members have taken the check and 20 have retaken it after two weeks. Until then it shows "Not enough data" instead of a number.
Known limitations
• Scores come from self-report, which people tend to rate generously. Behavior-based items and the honesty cross-checks reduce this but do not remove it.
• The Trait Reliability Check uses four items per trait. That is enough to check consistency, and more items would give finer scores.
• Scores are not yet compared with an outside reference group, so levels such as Reactor or Strategist are development labels, not population norms.
• Traits may overlap. We have not yet tested whether all ten measure separate things.
• We have not yet shown that higher scores predict better business results.
The CEOmind assessment is a behavioral development tool, not a clinical diagnostic instrument. It is designed for executive coaching and leadership development purposes. The psychometric framework draws on established behavioral science and clinical experience, but should not replace professional psychological evaluation when clinically indicated.
